God be gracious to us and bless us, and cause Your face to shine upon us--That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations. Psalm 67:1-2
Itís a new year and a new millennium. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in this new year. We need Godís blessing on our lives as we continue to labor for the Lord in this new year. By letting Almighty God work through us, we can accomplish His purpose. We can make Him, His ways and His salvation in Christ known.
What difference have we made for His kingdom in the past? What legacy have we left for those who come after us? Are we comfortable with how often we pray and read Godís Word?
Spend some time in quiet meditation and ask yourself if you are satisfied with where you are in the Lord. Iíve purposed to do better. Will you? I believe each one of us has room to improve and deepen our relationship with our Lord and Savior.
The Lord is always ready to show us something new and fresh. God wants to bless us. God is waiting and wanting to use us to make Himself known. And we will be blessed when we allow Him to work through our prayers.
Let us say like Paul, ďForgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13,14
I am optimistic about the new year, confident that God will continue to work in us and through us to make Himself known. As individuals and as a body we are a part of Godís plan. I believe God is going to bring about a revival in this country. Pray that there will be a returning to the Lord.
May we continue to seek the face of the Lord in prayer so that He might be known as Lord and Savior to everyone, everywhere. We have Godís promise that He will give us our request when we pray according to His will.
God be gracious to us and bless us, and cause Your face to shine upon us-- That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations.
